The MTC is a Wonderful Place

Funny: On the first night at the MTC my companion, the other two sisters we are sharing our room with and I were talking about what we were going to miss the most. Most of us said that we were going to miss our family, one of them said they were going to miss their dog. When it came to my companion she expressed how much she was going to miss the Kardashians. She said you know you are going to see your family again, but i'm not so sure about the Kardashians. I love my companion she is hilarious. 

Spiritual: Being here I have learned that our purpose as missionaries is to invite others to develop a relationship with Christ. I have felt my relationship with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ growing since I've been here. I have also felt the love that they have for me, and I have felt that same love for those around me. I feel the same way that Nephi felt in the scriptures: My God hath been my support; he hath led me through mine afflictions and he hath preserved me. He hath filled me with his love. (2 Nephi 4:20-21)

Where I am at: I love it here at the MTC! The overwhelming emotion I have felt while being here is joy. I have learned so much about how to teach others in the short time that I have been here. My companion's name is Sister Galvez she is from Salt Lake City and she is very funny and kind. I love being at the MTC and I still have so much to learn, but I'm also very excited to go to North Dakota and teach the people there. 

I am so grateful for all of my friends and family they have made me feel so loved! I can promise you that Heavenly Father loves you and so do I!
