Funny: One of my favorite ways to find people to teach is walking down the street and starting conversations with people about the gospel. I've had a lot of really cool experiences with it. Sometimes some really funny experiences. Like for example this week we were walking down the street and a guy stopped me and the conversation went like this: "Hey did you know there was a dance tonight." "Yeah, we heard about that in the park." "Oh.....well if you wanted to go with me....that would be ok...." It was SO funny! I just told him we are missionaries and if he wanted to learn more about Jesus Christ we would love to teach him sometime. He took our card and said he might want to learn more about the gospel sometime! So, we will see how that goes 😆 Spiritual: We found quite a few new people to teach this week! It was awesome! The people here are SO kind! We found a woman named Ivy who is very kind. There are still miracles every week. People help us...

Funny: So we finally moved into our apartment! The fires were put out by rain, and no houses were harmed! Our new apartment is very nice and more spacious than the one that I had in Williston. I really like it a lot the only down side is that it is rank with the stench of cat pee. We have purchased 6 candles and several bottles of Febreze, as well as carpet cleaner. So now it isn't so bad, but those first few days were pretty gross. The culprits of the smell, still come to our apartment every day! We have about six cats that seem to want to live in our front yard! When we leave the apartment to go tracting often times they will follow us from house to house. So of course, we named them all. I named five of them. They are Snowball, ginger snap, fluffy, whiskers, mittens, and Sister Archibald wanted to name one Pedro. So, we don't have pets technically, but we have some furry friends now! I forgive them for making our carpet smell terrible, because forgiveness is a Christl...

Funny: Sturgis is the biggest motorcycle rally in the world. In order to get to my area of the mission on Thursday we had to drive through it. There are about 500,000 bikers or so who attend it every year, and it lasts about 10 days. It is a very large event! Sister Archibald (my new companion) and I have been staying in Custer until our apartment is ready in Hot Springs. Even though Custer isn't that close to the rally it still had its main street partially closed down for motorcycle parking and tons of motorcycle booths around town. The other day I asked Sister Archibald if she wanted to walk down main street and invite some of these lovely people to come unto Christ. She was pretty nervous, but I had a good feeling about it. So we started walking and we stopped and talked to quite a few people. Every single person we talked to without fail was SO kind and accepting. One of the biker ladies I stopped to talk to was very nice and said she might want to learn more. Then she asked...

Funny: Some of the elders had a really funny experience this week. They ran into a drunk guy and started talking to him about the gospel. He said "let me paint you a picture about the gospel." The guy said "You're gonna paint me a picture!" Elder: "ummmm, figuratively yes." guy: "no no no no I want you to paint me a REAL picture!" Elder: "If I do will you listen to our message?" guy: "sure" Elder: "Alright we are going to come back next week with a painting and teach you a message about the gospel." guy: "Alright I'm looking forward to it." So they went back the next week with a painting of the angel Moroni on the temple. He listened to their message and brought out some painting easels and empty canvases and they started painting landscapes with him as they taught him their message!!! It was awesome.
