Funny: Boy do I have a story for you! So earlier this week. We went to go visit a sweet little old lady in our branch named Star. She graciously welcomed us in and started telling us lengthy stories about her crazy exciting life. After talking with her for a while we read Moroni 7 with her which talks a lot about faith, hope, and charity. As soon as we were done reading she says "I just had a prompting to tell you something." "what is it?" we said somewhat skeptically and excited. “If someone tries to kidnap you fight to the death." ... " Do you each have weapons?" Sister Hamblin was given a pocket knife a while ago so she said "I have a knife." Star said "Always go for the jugular, and don't just stab you have to rip up." Hearing these words come from a sweet fragile little old lady who is almost in her 90's was a bit disconcerting to say the least. She then asked me "do you have a weapon?" .... "no." "Well lucky for you I have some hidden around everywhere in my house." She got up reached behind a picture and pulled out a big old rock in a sock. As she handed it to me she said "If anyone asks tell them it was a gift." I was trying so hard not to laugh!

Spiritual: We are teaching this really sweet couple right now. They have a son who is almost two years old. This week they told us that they have just been waiting for us to find them and teach them. They used to meet with missionaries years ago, and they have been talking about finding the church in Hot Springs for months. When we knocked on their door it truly was by divine design that we would meet them and teach them. They told us this week that they want to change their lives, and start having Christ be a part of their lives. I love them so much. I am so grateful that God put us in each other’s path.

Where I'm at: Well we got transfer calls today! I am going to be opening a new area again! Our area covers many towns. The two towns we have the most work in is Hot Springs, and Custer. There are SO many people here in Hot Springs and Custer who are so prepared to receive the gospel. So, they are putting me in Custer full time so now we will have two sets of missionaries in our cute little branch! I am over the moon excited about it. My new companion is a sister from Tonga! I am SO excited!

A buffalo on the road at sunrise is a typical day for me :)

For Halloween we dressed up as each other...creative I know.
We drove next to a forest fire the other day.... It was fine though.
