Funny: Our Thanksgiving was a blast! I got to help cook a lot of Thanksgiving since Sister Manning (the member we are staying with) was hosting Thanksgiving dinner for all of the people in our branch that didn't already have plans. So, I got to cook and bake some more pies which was so fun! Also, a really kind member of my ward back home sent some pretty awesome hats to me and my companion for thanksgiving! It's not every day you see a sister missionary with a turkey on their head.

Spiritual: My testimony of hope has grown this week. We cannot have faith without hope. No matter what circumstances we may be in we can choose to have hope. With that choice comes more joy than we can imagine!

Where I'm at: it's getting colder and snowier every day. Sister 'Eliesa's uncle sent us matching hats to keep warm in! Pretty soon here President Howell is going to have us take over Hot Springs and Custer again. That will be fun, I kind of miss splitting our time between two areas, it helps us stay very busy. I'm very excited for Christmas and Light the World. The true meaning of the season is to celebrate Jesus Christ, and what better way to do that then by serving others. When we are in the service of your fellow beings we are only in the service of your God. I would encourage everyone to go to lighttheworld.org and find some ways you can serve people this season. I can promise that your Christmas will be so much more fun as you look for ways to serve others.
