Funny: We were doing weekly planning before our dinner appointment, we were doing comp inventory and talking about how we want to get better at being on time to things always. Right as we were talking about punctuality, I looked at the time and realized we were about to be late for our dinner appointment! So, we ran out of the house and started driving there. Once we got there, I realized I was wearing my slippers... I hoped they wouldn't notice. They did, but it was ok. Spiritual: Let me tell you a little something about a man named Chuck. He is great! He sincerely wants to follow Christ so deeply. He has been studying from the bible for years and knows it as well as the back of his hand. We had a lesson with him this week and he told us that he believes the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only church on the earth today that follows everything Christ taught and all that is in the bible. He was so shocked by that revelation. I was SO exceedingly happy, tha...

Funny: So many funny things this week! For starters we got a surprise on Wednesday. Sister Eliessa and I are training a new missionary named Sister Haney! It was her first day in the field, and I was so excited to take her out tracting, and get straight into the work. The first person we saw was this little old man riding on his little motor wheel chair down the street. I go up to him and introduce ourselves as missionaries and start to talk to him. He kept saying "WHAT?" really loud. Eventually he just said "I can't understand you. Once you get pregnant and have babies then I will be able to understand you." I was a little bit confused by this, and he started to laugh hysterically as he rolled away on his little wheelchair. We all burst out laughing. This week has just been chuck full of laughter and smiles. Spiritual: This story is a little bit funny as well as spiritual. So we were tracting and this cute little cat started following us around to every d...

Funny: we had stake conference yesterday and it was amazing! Sara is getting baptized next week, and she came to the conference, and was able to meet the stake president and Elder Rossen of the 70. During stake conference they called her out and briefly shared her experience of receiving a witness from the spirit that the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. She went bright red, but she was smiling so big! I feel so blessed to know that Heavenly Father truly does place us in the path of those who are prepared to hear the gospel. Spiritual: Elder Rossen gave an analogy I really loved to the missionaries after stake conference. He said imagine you wake up tomorrow and find yourself in a row boat with nothing but some ores. In every direction you look, you can see nothing but ocean. What would you do? Most of us would probably start rowing. Then imagine the same scenario, but this time way off in the distance you see a tiny little light...

Funny: We have an investigator who likes to make puns out of literally everything she sees. I don't think I've seen her go more than 5 minutes without a pun. I absolutely love it! She kills me. The one that made me laugh the hardest this week was I asked her if I could use her bathroom and she was like "of course I wouldn't want to im(pe)de you". It may not be that funny to everyone else, but I laughed SO hard! Spiritual: Heavenly Father loves us SO much! He gives such great advice through the scriptures. I was reading Alma 58:37 earlier this week, and despite all the reasons they had to doubt and fear Helaman said it mattereth not, for we trust in God. There is nothing to fear or worry about when you trust God. If your gonna pray about it there is no need to worry. If your gonna worry about it why aren't ya praying? This has helped me a lot on my mission. I have such a strong testimony of prayer. I invite everyone to pray, weather your struggling, or do...
