Funny: All over Fargo there are these faces on the trees. We are not quite sure why or how they got there, but it's been fun finding and imitating their different facial expressions. Also, in this email I included some pictures of how bad the snow was in Fargo only about a month ago, and now it's all gone! North Dakota may not have any mountains, but it sure has some pretty tall snow banks. Spiritual: This week has truly been full of miracles! Every day I can see how the Lord hastens his work. It reminds me a lot of the parable of the Lord in the Vineyard.  "71And the Lord of the vineyard said unto them: Go to, and labor in the vineyard, with your might. For behold, this is the last time that I shall nourish my vineyard; for the end is nigh at hand, and the season speedily cometh; and if ye labor with your might with me ye shall have joy in the fruit which I shall lay up unto myself against the time which will soon come. 72 And it came to pass that the servants d...

Funny: Once upon a time we were going to try a person we could potentially start teaching and as we were reaching towards the door, we heard several blood-curdling screams of little kids. We paused, but continued to knock. There were 12 little kids under the age of 4 running around, most of them were crying. This sweet little old lady from Liberia was watching all of them. We asked if this was her daycare, she gave us a look that said "Of course not!" And said "These are some of my grandkids". She was so sweet and took the Book of Mormon we offered her and asked us what chapter she could read to prepare to meet with us again. She was sweet, and so excited to meet with us again! Spiritual: This week was FULL of miracles! We found 11 new people to teach this week and a bunch of people we can begin to teach soon! The Lord is truly hastening his work! It is not ours, but his work! I am just so grateful to be a part of it. I am so grateful for this Easter season; J...

Funny: Two things this week that were pretty funny: one there was a blizzard and it snowed almost two feet. And we ate blizzards in the blizzard! Blizzard-ception. Two we had a lesson with Sylvester and we brought one of our recent concerts Judly to the lesson. Sylvester told us we are very charismatic, and would be good at customer service. Judly with much energy and enthusiasm said "They are customer service for Jesus!" It was very funny! Spiritual: "And moreover, I would desire that ye should consider on the blessed and happy state of those that keep the commandments of God. For behold, they are blessed in all things, both temporal and spiritual; and if they hold out faithful to the end they are received into heaven, that thereby they may dwell with God in a state of never-ending happiness. O remember, remember that these things are true; for the Lord God hath spoken it." Mosiah 2:41 I never cease to be amazed by the miracles I see every week on my mission,...

Funny: Wow a lot has happened this week! We had exchanges, zone conference, and general conference! We contacted probably around 30 or so people to watch conference with us at the church, and no one could make it! A few watched it at home though! When we got there, we found out none of the members decided to watch it at the church either, so it was just us and the other sisters in Fargo! It was pretty funny it was just us 4 in the whole chapel. Spiritual: there were SO many spiritual things this week! Mostly conference. Also, when we were on exchanges, one of the people we have been teaching expressed how she wants to be baptized! And two of the people I was teaching in Hot Springs messaged me saying when they were listening to conference when President Nelson was speaking, they decided they want to be baptized! Lots of people walking the covenant path this week! It was amazing! Where I'm at: I think the best part of my week was when the man I first got to teach and see e...

Funny: We share a ward with a set of elders. Elder Pies has been here for 5 transfers so all the members know him pretty well and they tend to invite them over for dinner more often than us since we just got here. Yesterday in church the Bishop basically told the ward forget about the elders and start feeding the sisters! I don't think the elders were too happy, but we were alright with it! Spiritual: This week was interesting. At the beginning of it we were planning on giving 4 people we are teaching a baptismal date. By the end of it for various reasons we had to stop teaching about half of the people we were teaching. It's interesting to see how the Lords plans and our plans are not always the same, but when we have faith things always work out for the best. Even if we don't understand it right now. I like how Nephi says it "I know that he loveth his children; nevertheless, I do not know the meaning of all things." Where I'm at: As a community we ...
