Funny: All over Fargo there are these faces on the trees. We
are not quite sure why or how they got there, but it's been fun finding and
imitating their different facial expressions. Also, in this email I included
some pictures of how bad the snow was in Fargo only about a month ago, and now
it's all gone! North Dakota may not have any mountains, but it sure has some
pretty tall snow banks.
Spiritual: This week has truly been full of miracles! Every
day I can see how the Lord hastens his work. It reminds me a lot of the parable
of the Lord in the Vineyard.
"71And the Lord of the vineyard said unto them: Go to,
and labor in the vineyard, with your might. For behold, this is the last time
that I shall nourish my vineyard; for the end is nigh at hand, and the season
speedily cometh; and if ye labor with your might with me ye shall have joy in
the fruit which I shall lay up unto myself against the time which will soon
come.
72 And it came to pass that the servants did go and labor
with their mights; and the Lord of the vineyard labored also with them; and
they did obey the commandments of the Lord of the vineyard in all things."
jacob 5: 71-72
The Lord is doing his work, I feel extremely grateful to be
his servant. I feel grateful for the fruits of our labor we have been blessed
to see this week. The thing that truly brings me the greatest joy, is watching
the transformation that comes into people's life because of the gospel of Jesus
Christ. There is no greater happiness in all the world than progression, and
helping others progress by the power of the spirit.
Where I'm at: Fargo feels like the promised land! Although I
dearly love and miss Hot Springs, and a piece of my heart will always live
there, I also love Fargo. I love the people here. I'm so very grateful for all
that I've been given! I'm thankful to be on a mission.
Ofa lahi atu!
