Funny: Transfer calls came this week! So I only have 4 previous companions that are still serving on their missions. About a week ago there was a pre-transfer thing, and the first Sister I trained, Sister Haney, and my second trainer, Sister Archibald, became companions. Then we came to find out Sister Thompson is going to be joining them in a trio on Wednesday! So, two of the sisters I've trained and my trainer are going to be companions! 3/4 of my companions still out are going to be in the same companionship! So, in missionary lingo my "mom" is going to be companions with two of my "daughters". And they are going to be "killing" her since this is her last transfer in the mission. Our family may be crazy, but it’s ours!
Spiritual: We were doing service at the emergency food pantry and a woman came up to me and said "I see God in you." I told her what she sees is the Spirit and she asked how she could have that same spirit and I told her by having faith in Jesus Christ, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and continuing to do that throughout our life. We met with her on Saturday, and she asked if she could be baptized once she prepares for it spiritually. It was a great testament to me that the Lord does His work, and we are very blessed to get to be a part of it.
Where I'm at: So the rest of our transfer call was that I am going to be training a new missionary, and a Sister Training Leader. Sister Searl is going to be the other STL in Fargo. I'm so excited for this new adventure! I'm very happy I get to stay in Fargo a little longer. I'm so grateful to be a part of this work.
