Fun: Okay so this last Saturday was quite possibly my
favorite day of my life! We went to Fergus falls with the other sisters because
there was a huge service project that they asked us to help with. The wild life
center was having this huge event they needed service at. Every year a lot of
Monarch butterflies are born here, and they all migrate to Mexico coming up in
a few weeks here. So, to help protect them and their habitat, they need to be
tagged. So, for about seven hours we helped at this huge event where tons and
tons of families came to catch and tag butterflies! It was one of the happiest
times of my life!!!!! The other sisters thought I was crazy because I had so
much energy and I caught the most butterflies at the event! I caught 15! Plus,
we helped a lot of cute little kids tag their butterfly's then we would set
them on their nose and they would take off. It was so much fun!!! We also planted
flowers, and there was a blue grass band and root beer floats! It felt like
heaven. I am excited to go back after my mission to that event again. They do
it every year, and it truly has become one of my happiest memories!
Spiritual: The Lord is always blessing us with tender
mercies. Like the butterflies, and finding people, and so many other things.
I'm very grateful that I got to serve here In Fargo with Sister Harker she is a
wonderful friend. This week I was reminded how much my father in heaven loves
me. He takes care of me, and he cares how I'm feeling. He is always helping me
feel better. I love him so much.
Where I'm going: I am getting transferred to Pierre South
Dakota! I am going to be companions with Sister Averett who came out with me.
We are going to be Sister Training Leaders together. Pierre is the capital of
South Dakota and it is the second smallest capitol in the United States. I'm SO
excited!!!!
